GYF is attending the Purple Door Festival August 13 & 14. If you want to go please download a permission slip and get it back to us by August 5th. That is the deadline for the group rate of $36. It's an overnight event, and we are staying at an EC Church in the area, so bring sleeping gear--but don't get crazy.

- Some of our people are leaving this weekend to minister to inner city youth at Stillwater in Ft. Wayne IN. Pray for them as they seek the Lord!

GYF is sponsoring a "BATTLE OF THE BANDS!", to help support Camp ECCO and Stillwater. It all goes down on Friday, August 6th at Salem Community Bldg. Bring some sweet baked goods to sell at the concession.
Spread the word about the ALL CHURCH PICNIC at Dobe's Ponds on Sunday, August 8 immediately following the 2nd morning worship service. There will be a pig pickin', swimming, fishing, and all kinds of fun. Bring a covered dish or dessert to share and a lawn chair--unless you like to sit on the ground. Last year's picnic was an awesome success--so you don't wanna miss this one.
Have fun this summer and stay safe! Keep studying the WORD and draw close to God, b/c he promised if you do, he'll draw close to you. And he is not a man that he should lie.
